On Sunday 27th August, Co-Director, Brenda Duffus completed her 5th and penultimate 10k race in Ellesmere. She was competing against 900 entrants from around Shropshire and beyond. The weather couldn’t have been better on a surprisingly sunny Bank Holiday Sunday. However, it did make for tired legs and plenty of water consumption!
Most importantly, another £200 has been raised through sponsorship. This will go towards the Linda Butler Bursary to aid Mercy Ship UK volunteers.
Brenda’s final race is in Leicester next Sunday.
